1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Walkgate mobile application ("Walkgate," "App," or "Service") .

By downloading, installing, or using Walkgate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Walkgate Does

Walkgate helps you reduce phone overuse by linking earned screen time to physical activity (steps). Depending on your device, the App may:

• Read step data from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect / your device’s motion sensors (Android)
• Monitor app usage through Screen Time permissions (iOS) or Usage Access (Android)
• Block selected apps using system blocking features (iOS shields; Android overlays and background monitoring)
• Send optional notifications (for example, step reminders)
• Store preferences and usage data on your device

Walkgate is a wellness and productivity tool, not medical advice, therapy, or a guaranteed blocking system.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Walkgate.

If you are under 18, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for ensuring Walkgate is lawful to use where you live.

4. Permissions and Device Access

Walkgate requires certain system permissions to function. You may revoke permissions at any time in system settings, but some features may stop working.
